It was a exciting day for me, simply because I knew I had it in the bag when I decided to bring my family (particularly, my husband and my son) to the Illinois Railway Museum. Were we gonna see trains? Yes. Were we gonna ride trains? Yes. Then what's the hype all about? Well, twice a year, IRM hosts the WWII Reenactment and my two boys LOVE anything army. At the end of the day, I had a man and a boy with smiles as wide as a smile can go!

Blooms! Now, this is what spring is all about! I have had many trips to the Chicago Botanic Gardens, but this is my first time to visit the gardens in the spring. The gardens never fail to overwhelm and enchant. I was drawn. Colors are everywhere. The scent of flora sweet. The sound of bees buzzing. And yes, cameras 'clicking'. This is a photographer's paradise.
